Government of Bihar has started issuing challan to all its ration dealers online. The SFC portal has provided an option for all ration dealers to download online PDS Challan. For that, they are required to visit the official website of SFC Bihar. Government has also established online portal for providing complete details related to consumers ration card status etc.
What is a PDS challan?
A PDS Challan is online e-challan or receipt provided by Government to food grain dealers against which they are allocated with their monthly allocation of wheat and rice. Under various food security schemes, Bihar Government provided PDS Challan to its dealers.
How can one check their PDS challan?
To check their PDS challan, dealers can use the mentioned methods. For that, they are required to know where they are located. The Panchayat and block of their PDS center is required to download e-Challan.
To check PDS challan of dealer, use following process –
- Go to SFC bihar portal
- Now, Visit http://sfc.bihar.gov.in/downloadEChallan.htm
- There, you will see an option to select your district, block and panchayat.
- After that, select the period for which you need the ration card challan.
- Then, you can download e-Challan from there.
Is E Challan required for every dealer?
Yes, every PDS dealer must download their challan to continue their dealership properly.
